What is Kharba?

खर्ब

Kharba is the Nepali term for one hundred billion (100,000,000,000) — equal to 100 arba or 10,000 crore. Nepal's annual federal budget is in the range of about 17–19 kharba (roughly Rs 1.7–1.9 trillion).

Kharba (10¹¹) is two steps above crore: 1 kharba = 100 arba = 10,000 crore.

It is the headline unit for Nepal's national budget and total GDP figures.
