About these Nepal calculators
Are these Nepal calculators free to use?+
Yes. Every calculator and converter here is completely free, runs in your browser and needs no sign-up or account.
Which fiscal year do the tax tools use?+
The income tax, customs duty, VAT and TDS tools are built on the FY 2083/84 (2026/27) rules, including the current slabs, rebates and the 13% standard VAT rate.
How accurate are the engineering and construction calculators?+
They use standard textbook formulas and IS/NBC conventions (e.g. the 1.54 dry-volume factor, the d²/162 steel-weight rule, Manning's and Hazen–Williams equations). They are planning-level estimates; confirm critical quantities against a detailed design and current local material rates.
Are bank, share-market and bill rates current?+
Formulas are exact, but rate-based figures (FD/loan interest, brokerage commission, capital-gains tax, NEA tariff, vehicle tax) are verified, dated defaults you can edit, and volatile rates like gold and foreign exchange are entered by you from the official daily source. Always confirm the current rate with your bank, broker, NEPSE/SEBON, the NEA or the Inland Revenue Department.
Are the results official?+
No. They are estimates to help you plan and understand the rules — not official assessments from any authority. Confirm final figures with the relevant institution.
